Once a Flight Card has been played, the active player MAY then play a single Attack Card.  Each Attack Card depicts the player’s dragon on the board and any valid attack squares.
The attacker determines their Combat by adding their Dragon Card Combat stat plus, all Flight Card Combat icons, plus the Attack Card just played.

The target dragon then determines its total Evasion by adding its Dragon Card plus all of its Flight Card Evasion icons. If the target’s Evasion is higher than the attacker's Combat, no damage is dealt.  If the target’s Evasion is lower than 0, then their Evasion is considered to be 0.

Subtract the target’s Evasion total from the attacker’s Combat total.  The resulting number is the amount of wounds dealt to the target. The Target then removes that number of Life Tokens. If a dragon is ever reduced to 0 Life Tokens they are dead and removed from the game.

After dealing damage, discard the Attack Card into your discard pile. Some Attack Cards will place Status Tokens on the target. If a card causes a Status Token to be placed but they are all used then do not place a Status Token.

Play then moves clockwise to the next player. The next player then takes their turn in the same fashion.

After all players have played a Flight Card and possibly an Attack Card, the turn is over. The first player then plays their second Flight Card by sliding it underneath the first so that ALL Evasion and Combat icons are visible. Players MAY play an Attack Card following each Flight Card that they play. Play continues clockwise until the last player has played 3 turns - this ends the round.
